So now let's see who they give big raised to and promote into those roles vacated. Personally I think About 30 more could go.
Today in the birthday lunch, Al said that 9 corporate officer positions were eliminated. Website shows 38 corporate officers so this is a 24% reduction.
Hardly any management was touched. Who will work for them and what will they do? Rampant inequities.
We've been the known GA waster in the industry for years. Over the top everything! Every VP is a million plus in total comp a year, every expat is a million plus per person every year, 5 planes at 25 million a piece, 2 Hunting lodges at millions a year for just the execs to use, new buildings (now half empty) with imported marble....WASTE! And now - we the lowly pay the price of incompetent management.
Thank you Kim Lacayo for bringing in Marron 5 and Other over the top entertainment at past Christmas parties makes you wonder if we would have watched costs more would more people still have jobs? $1,000,000 for a band to perform. I work in accounting and saw the costs it would blow you away.
Maybe it's just me, but if you don't work at APC anymore - why does it matter what vps are leaving? You left, move on.

Those of us who didn't get a fair chance to stay would like to know which hypocrites in leadership are remaining. But we are no longer able to receive emails with that information you moron!
I know of departments that had all BUT their managers or supervisors cut. Who are they supervising now? And most of them don't know how to do those actual jobs and processes, so it makes a person wonder who is steering the ship?!!?!!
If you don't know of any VPs then you either do not work for Anadarko or you do not read your email very closely. Last count there were 8 VPs that will "retire" in the coming months...
I know of no VPS or directors....
Don't know a number. I've heard of a few that are going to be able to "retire" out through the end of the year. Makes you wanna barf
