I was ripped off for at least $60k when I got laid off. Probably a good idea to check your state law on things like OT and Comp Time. If your SAP time is more than your clock time, you can ask for your SAP time. Most likely you can sign the severence pkg and continue to ask for more if your request is reasonable. If management and CEO did their job, our jobs would still be there.

Accrued PTO OT and Comp time on the SAP books at the time of termination should all be part of your severance, if you have any time NOT in SAP at the time of termination you will need to work with your manager/HR to see what time will be allowed to be added. Example: I had over 20 hours of accrued PTO that they must and agreed to pay.
Laws vary by state. In CA, you state what time you worked and petition for unpaid overtime. The company then has to disprove your claim or pay. This has nothing to do with timecards or clocked in time or any other definition by the company. If you were on-call, on VPN, answering company emails, or expected to, you can claim a lot of extra time. The CA FLSA is very easy to understand and act on. Your signature on the severance paperwork does little to preclude it. (I have collected from a company after signing their paperwork, so I know this to be true.)
Most people don't realize how insanely pro-employee CA is. (Why do you think they want to move to TX?) Other states, not so much. talk to an attorney and read up on the state laws. It's not much work to get what you are owed.
No- management would not let you key in OT so extra time was Comp time that would allow you to take off in the future. Well, the layoff came before being allowed to take the Comp time. This was approved my McK management.
If your SAP time and clock time differ it means you were dishonest
