Thread regarding McKesson Corp. layoffs

Paragon(e) Charlotte not hit....yet.

Not hit yet but surely it is coming after the poor execution of Better Health 2020. A lot of staff ready to go.....

I feel like I've been b*tch slapped by this company. I know that no company offers guarantees, and I understand that economic climate has played a part in the crumbling structure that was once strong and vibrant. But the impact we are bearing the brunt of at the moment was created by poor management decisions.

This is the second time I've been laid off from this company because upper management didn't listen to the rumbling of the underlings who knew all along we were headed for trouble. It isn't the people at the bottom losing their jobs that caused the mess. We did everything we could to clean it up, but within the parameters set for us.

Like lemmings following their leader off a cliff. Except, in our case, the leaders have parachutes.

Paragone, indeed. I feel really bad for the customer base who have trusted in Paragon, despite every indication that it's upper management was comprised of lying wankers. The Charlotte office has smelled like curry for months, and next week will bring additional cuts of the U.S. citizens who originally built this product. McKesson has betrayed every one of its workers who have sweated and bled for this company over the years. They will reap what they sow when the client lawsuits come pouring in.

Shipping McKesson jobs to India is NOT a joke! Where have you been? India has assumed a majority of our administrative functions for the past several years.

Google: Genpact India. Their offices are nicer than most US McK buildings! They even get most holidays off and we don't! i.e. Black Friday, Presidents Day, MLB day, etc....The problem I have with outsourcing is that they DO NOT do a good job for our customers! Constant screw ups and language barrier. Everything is black and white to them. They are not flexible, respectful or patient. They are rude, in a rush, careless...I can go on and on. Most customers don't realize this. Beware!!

Hopefully the shipping jobs to India is a joke. Isn't that illegal i.e laying people off and sending their jobs offshore?

It's about time dragging this company down as bad as ERM did.

Keep on paddling all the way to India where your jobs are going. You would of thought mgmt would have learned their lesson the first time with outsourcing.

I was RIF last April 2015 and it was a blessing. I am so glad I am out of the constant uncertainty and the grass is greener. One thing McK gave many is the preparation to be great in your next career opportunity. Best of luck and may your nightmares end soon.
