Every1 - please make ur near & dear 1s aware that layoffs are going to start soon - in 2 / 3 weeks time. The butcher is going to b active again - expected headcount to be laid off @ 2 - 3 K with mid level staff. please spread this word - warn people and customers to stay away from this junk company.

what about people who have already resigned .... will they get early release from this company..... if yes then when can we expect it...?
Dude, The fact is top management screws u for their own benefits and not for company's benefits. Getting new project & new work is not the primary responsibility of dev. & test teams. The people who don't get projects or get bad projects shud be fired first and people who fail to deliver shud be fired after that. In this crap company, it is the other way round & hence layoffs in this sucks ..
abe chup all companies layoff people. It is good. at least in syntel is public and acknowledged
in tecm company 10000 people laid off last sept 2015 silently every day a few people from each location and not small noise any where.
5000 people among them Senior manager (18-24 lakh range salary) and DM's (24-36 lakhs salary range) who were doing only managing personal finances and indulging in politics by forming regional syndicates etc and bought lot of houses cheaply(from laid off resources) when people were laid of during satyam takeover.
rest of 5000 people were testing folks rottin in manual testing, this result being no good tester available in that compnay and trainees resigning after being put in testing as trainee knows that he will be fored in few years on cost and work load basis
similar fate awaits this company also.
Good people get better jobs and bad manager bite dust.
good company become better and bad company close down.
