With just 3 months left to increase enrollments or face more RIFs and school closings the AP uncovered the TRUTH about our schools. Now we have no choice but to change the recruiting structure, which will limit our ability to reach thousands of potential students. Without being able to reach these gullible people through misleading advertisements and high pressure sales tactics we will not be able to reach our enrollment budgets. Unfortunately these circumstances will force us to make drastic changes to our short term and long term business plans which will result in school closings and consolidation. I'm taking this time to regretfully inform you that many more of you will be losing your jobs as we will need to "right size" the employee base to meet the predicted decline in student population. These terminations, school consolidations and closings will be taking place over the next 90 days as our restructuring begins to unfold. I would like to thank each and every one of you for your dedication and hard work as we stand side by side giving it our very best effort to help each and every one of our students. Realistically, most potential students don't have the motivation, acumen or awareness to even find the AP article. I suspect that most who learn about it will have it handed to them (or read to them....) by the admission counselor at a competing career school. That said, it certainly does not help.
Remember this: Bullshitting potential students can only go so far, eventually they will figure things out. The game is over.
