CSC decided that it was best to split the company into 2 distinct businesses. This, most believe, that it makes it more lucrative to foreign purchase, as a foreign company cannot control government contracts.
Since that time, nothing has changed. CSC is still losing contracts. They talk about gaining new contracts, however, they do not speak about the fact that they are losing customers. UTC is coming up for renewal in 2019, and this is almost certainly not going to be renewed. Why? Because CSC's service sucks. They have trimmed staff to bare bones, have them supporting other business units, on top of the UTC's client base, with smaller staff. Guess who loses out?
We have been told we HAVE to take another 3 days vacation before March 31. This is because they suck so bad at negotiating contracts that they lose money ALL THE TIME! Well, let me put it this way...Let's make sure stock holders are happy, but F--- the employees.
We were even told that if you don't like the way the company handles things, and the direction it is going, get another job. They do not care.
If you are looking for a job, and CSC wants to interview you, RUN! RUN as fast as you can!!!
