I worked at that sh--hole for over a year as a stop-gap job after a layoff...what a HORRIBLE place to work. Sad for the people losing their jobs, but they'll be better off not working for that scummy organization

The gv and franklin office divisions of medimart were told today that by 12/2016 the business will be permanently closed as the business simply does not make enough money. My heart goes out to all who have or will be losing their job myself included as I am one of the casualties.
They all went in on the lottery and won!
I heard they are closing Medimart completely.
They start today. HR has rooms booked to deliver the news today and tomorrow. Don't know what specific areas but the logical thing would be to get rid of the temps on billing first and condense that area with a potential for outsourcing since they are over a year behind but logic never plays out at MediMart. The restructuture made us very management heavy which is never good. I think we have over 20 leadership staff for 180 people so they probably will get it too.
