Do we care what Jay says? As we look back--has he been truthful with State Street employees? Continual layoffs for 8 years is NOT good for any company. It is a sign of desperation and a management completely lacking in ideas to correct the problem. Why--because they are the problem.
Just wait for a few weeks until we see what Jay got paid for 2015.
So the other post said 3000 will eventually lose their jobs and nothing is in the local news unreal! Wait until people quit too cause they don't want to be caught off guard, I wonder if Boston Quincy will cease to exist when all is said and done. Thank you liberal progressives and greedy shareholders you're both equally culpable for American layoffs.

How may I ask is this area going to handle and absorb this many job cuts? There's not that many jobs available to handle this. You'd think Baker would be in a tizzy over high unemployment rates, if he and Walsh think GE will be the new Beacon (get the pun) they both are sorely mistaken!
