Really news???? Did you not read the CCI SEC reports during the sale. It was obvious the DOE was partnering with Zenith. Obama was against for-profit schools. They did not expect a complete shutdown of CCI when they halted funding. This would cause billions of revenue to the DOE to be refunded at the tax payers expense. Tax payers (i.e. Voters) would be outraged at the Obama campaign. Obama could not go public with a bailout for CCI as it would contradict his message. Therefore, they used Zenith as a pawn to bailing out CCI. Out of the 100+ schools CCI had, only about 15-20 were worth saving. You will see in the end Zenith will run these schools and the rest will be on teach-out. Any business minded person saw this since the start. The last year has been a weeding out process or slow closure of most the campuses allowing Obama and the DOE to minimize losses.

Have you read the investigative report put out by the AP and covered in all the major news agencies? The partnership between ECMC and the DOE was uncovered yesterday and how the DOE is turning it's head allowing Dave Hawn and ECMC to continue with the same people and policies that lead to the downfall of CCi. One of the best stories is Zenith paying outrages sums of money to the board of directors that are responsible for overseeing the integrity of Zenith.
