Thread regarding HP (Hewlett-Packard) layoffs

Last 3 years no salary hike but executives minted money.

They are hiring contractors and moving the job to low cost centers. T

hou i am the only one who currently knows the project code, they want to lay me off in a month. They just don't know what they are doing.

At one point we had 3 managers to look into 6 subordinates.. HPE is a very bad place to work for. One way of removing people is they tell people to come into office to work[it does not matter if the hpe office is close by or 50 or 100 miles away], thou most of the team is working remotely.

Another way is to load up people with work or no salary hike for n number of hears so they will automatically quit.

The WFR's started 4/18/2016. Hewlett and Packard would be disgusted with what Meg is doing to the company.

Isn't it ironic that they no longer care about someone's skillset. Only $$$$.

That's way I quitted my storage job last year and I believe I made a right decision.

Yup, this is correct. When I thankfully left my crappy permanent role at HP for a better job, my work colleague told me that my role was advertised on job-websites as a 6-month contract role.

Just heard from a recruiter that HP is indeed leaning towards hiring contractors and continue to layoff permanent workers.
