Thread regarding Dolan Media Co. layoffs

Well, the venture capitalist company Bayside got rid of a lot of workers to make operations appear more profitable, and sold the business information segment to GateHouse Media. GateHouse has a reputation for laying off production people and moving those jobs to Austin. But since this is a new business model for GateHouse, who knows what will happen. Maybe GateHouse will treat the Dolan employees better, or at least recognize how close things have been cut to the bone. Best of luck to those still standing, doing the work of those who were dumped.
