Thread regarding Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. layoffs

Bad Company

Do not expect warning of a layoff at Jacobs, the axe swings blindly and quickly. This is a very badly managed company who only care about profit. Investment in training and people is minimal.

For a publicly traded company they are most certainly a bad investment

They like to steal from clients and other contractors, I know I worked with them for a few years. While I was at Jacobs they asked me to look the other way on a few things, anyone working for them can do better.

Re minimal investment in people and their training / learning, all the western EPC contractors are the same, regardless whether business is going good or going bad.
