Few geographies can be closed too....No meaningful contributions really...
I hope Hock will get rid off top management. Too much of drag on company with no contributions.
Don't know why people are discussing about rounds ?? Don't think the layoffs would be happening continuously in rounds. I would assume Hock is not laying off people in Avago BUs except a bit in Central Engineering. So whoever has been retained will mostly retire in Broadcom !!
Its not hard to see those of us who survived this round, its because some stats number favored us and not due to unique technical prowess. Strong or weak are relative terms depending on your Manager's budget for this quarter. Transformation from technology company to financial entity has just begun. For same work more $$? why not, be happy.
Who is this kiss-ass mother f---er that would snitch off a fellow worker???????????????????????????
I hope those survivors can still keep this kind of positive attitude when they got layoff in next round.
And I will report anyone who is has a problem with our new company!
I agree, the strong will make it. The weak will fall. I was promoted with $$
Broadcom is in the business of making a profit, it's not in the business of guaranteeing employment. Besides, the weakest players gets cut, they can go join our competitors and drag them down. It's a win-win. Long live emperor Hock!
Yes laying of 1900 and more to come people is performing well
Soon Hock Tan will be known among legendary CEOs/businessman, if not already. He is performing well even in these tough times.
You're full of sh--. This is a terrible company now that Avago has gotten it's claws in deep. This a corporate raider pretending to be a technology company.
Yes...I agree....big paycheck, stock flying high, unparalleled growth what else one can ask for....only negative is little bit of work pressure and stress..
Hock has hit where he gains most...top brass...so be happy...
