Why would any IBM employee care, they all know it is a matter of time before the get the boot. The dead weight is on the top, they get rewarded for sh--ty results.

14K is probably a low estimate. IBM mastered getting rid of employees under the radar.

Does not feel like it's 14K - it's possible, but unlikely

Lots of deadwood at IBM CANADA. Lots of marketing and account managers who don't do much to bring in customers. Instead, work from home to look after their kids. Lots of contractors who don't do any of the training required because they don't care. Hope U.S. looks at cutting more deadwood at their Canada head office. Nasty people who deserve to get let go because they do nothing and get paid for it. Unfriendly reception desk reflects their egotistical corporate culture.
