What were the extra kickers?
For most of us - It was the standard APC severance program that is based on your age and years of services. Only exception is the KM legacy people who have some "extra kickers" in their severance plan. And yes it would be easy for a director to be over 250,000
yes but recall the more you make harder to switch companies and industry...Supporting guys can switch industries not easy for G&G. Which is doubly hard, as you age.
I have seen this, I believe things are going to be very tight for 3 to 5 years. But if you make it it will be good times again.
Good luck
That's they key word, a key role and not a supporting organization such as contracts & procurement, logistics, EHS, document control.....
Drilling engineers and G&G are getting the most money which is unfortunate because there are quite a few persons in APC drilling team who are old school wankers.
It seems high bonus, but possible. Eng Advisors are above 200k often with good skills, but those are few and rare go overseas and you can double the number.
We are getting paid well if you are in a key role, not support.
I would think $250k annual salary is realistic for a director but would disagree on the 100%+ bonus as being a given. I would expect the bonus to be based on personal & company performance.
