Hey guys, for those of you that are getting laid off by Lockheed Martin. My company is hiring people that have previous work experience. Prospective should have an active DoD Secret clearance.

Preferably, individuals should have 3 to 10 years of experience. But if you’re already a level 2 engineer at Lockheed then you qualify too.

There are many positions open. Some of these are Air Vehicle Engineering, Software Engineering, Survivability, Antenna Design and Integration, and Systems Engineering.

All of those interested and meet these requirements, please send your email to me. (oandresusa@gmail.com) I will then refer each interested individual to to my company hiring system. Also, feel free to email me with any questions. And feel free to share this information with any other laid off employee that you may know.

If these are indeed voluntary layoffs aimed at mid and upper level employees, they may be trying to "rightsize" the workforce to make it younger and less expensive. MST has been doing this for a couple of years now with periodic VSIP offerings while hiring aggressively.

Does anyone know approximately how many employees will be downsized at the LM Aeronautics facility in Fort Worth, Texas. I recently heard that F-35 production in Fort Worth was about to substantially increase in 2016 and onwards. So it is strange that they are laying off people. Does anyone know if this information of production ramping-up in 2016 is accurate, and if so, how many people LM Aero is planning to hire at its F-35 manufacturing/production facility in Fort Woth?

I have nor seen any career fairs scheduled for the DFW area on the LMC career website. Thank you!

Mid- and upper-level employees are given the option to be laid off. If the goal of roughly 1,000 employees is not met via volunteers, involuntary layoffs are likely to follow.

News reports say these are 'voluntary layoffs.' Any details?
