Thread regarding Williams Cos. layoffs

SVP Bonus

It truly amazes me that the SVP JS got a $500k bonus for a standard compressor station that doesnt exist and the design is not complete. Does Allen ans the board check on anything or is this another classic example of the buddy system. We are truly seeing what kind of company Williams has become.

I'm going to BEG John to write my next employment agreement! Go read the 10-K. The board had to sign off I this. They ain't a bunch of pushovers -- I've been around them. Everybody is a rock thrower. And saved who with this money? That's not how it works. Every part of Williams -- except Atlantic Gulf -- has nothing to do. Nothing. Keeping 690 people on to continue that "productivity"? No thanks.

It is completely true, this corporation is rewarding a person for a fictional goal that was merely a goal and NEVER happened. The whole Pittsburgh office knows everything. But nothing will happen and he will buy another estate somewhere and another Lexis. Half a million dollar corporate VP bonus...do you know how many peoples salaries that would be to provide for their families? Disgusting, J. S. And your cronies.

I agree 100%...I guess this is what happens when you're high enough up the corporate ladder so you not only set your own goals, but you're in a position where you can manipulate the results and expectations to make it seem like you reached them, for your own financial benefit and no one has the ability or sense to question you. What a crock of sh*t. Or maybe he's completely innocent, and lives in a bubble thinking the design is 100% complete...that would be cute.
