As long as IT workers live with an illusion that they are upwardly mobile, there will be no unions - they hope that they will advance, and they do not want unions to stand in their way.
The reality is different - they stand to lose as corporations bring in more and more H1B folks, that will depress wages - they have no chance of advancing. Some of they maybe, but in the aggregate, no...
What unions? You have no idea what you're talking about. There are no unions in IT, and this is why now that times are hard, it's become very difficult for workers....while executives are still sitting pretty. You're not one of those anti-union idiots who have been fooled by politicians into chewing their own arm off, I hope....are you?
