My condolences to all that are affected. Was part of IBM'S cuts in 2010. Had been with the company since 1983.

It may have been a great place to work years ago but IBM has been on the forefront of screwing it's American workers. Today it's a reduced severance package. Back in the late 90's it was the retirement plan replaced with a cash balance plan. I was part of the 2010 group as my department went off shore.
