Fire Margaret Wang in Accounting. She is an cost accounting manager but the title ends there. She is incompetent, lazy and absolutely not worth paying her management Dollars

These are new set of layoffs, not the one already notified.

It's not clear if these are in addition to the ones already announced. It wouldn't surprise me if they are additive.

All these layoffs are done deal...People have been notified... 650 Million savings through 2018 is what it says. Same thing has been reiterated again during Results Announcement.

I assume as far as US is concerned, whatever announced 850 in CA will be out of this 1900. Another 1000 will have to come from rest of US (Allen Town, Fort Collins etc.) and rest of the world also. I hope I am right about this.

Really? I though layoff 700 people in Irvine & 180 in San Jose is done already. Are there more rounds to go?

Any idea which BU are effected?

Is it a new set of people or people in transition after the merger, who already got their notices?

Any idea if any business units are getting completely wiped out ?
