Yes, I agree with it being in shambles. NOV's instrumentation technology is ancient and in today's market when they should be developing products to put them ahead when the recovery comes, they are laying off the very people who could do just that.

Actually light years measures distance by time.
A light year is a unit of distance. You could kind of argue distance, but time is probably more appropriate.
A small part of me will be glad if it's my time. It'll suck having to find another job but I'll also be able to say goodbye forever to the O&G Industry. This industry is in shambles and is light years away from recovery. Can't take it, anymore.
