ACICS thinks rearranging chairs is going to save the titanic

Suck it ITT Tech, the public is wise to your scam and both you and ACICS are going down.

"In the meantime, a dozen state attorneys general are calling on the department to strip ACICS of the power to grant access to federal funds, accusing the accreditor of poorly evaluating for-profit colleges, such as Corinthian, ITT Tech, Sanford Brown and the Art Institutes. The department is preparing a routine review of the council in June and can decide not to recognize the agency, which would prevent ACICS from doing its job.

“The resignation of Albert Gray is a long-overdue admission by ACICS that it has failed to properly safeguard taxpayer dollars by protecting students from poor-performing institutions of higher education,” said Ben Miller, senior director for post-secondary education at the left-leaning Center for American Progress. “The problems at ACICS, however, cannot be fixed by just one resignation.”"

ACICS has failed to even ensure that institutions even live up to the flimsy requirements that ACICS has for faculty. ITT Tech has blatantly failed to maintain adequate Faculty and has actively sought to remove Faculty who do not "pass" enough students in a manner that any decent accreditor would have detected.

The sooner that ACICS and ITT Tech are both gone the better it will be for the USA.

And the tougher they get, the more declines in attendance, the more scrutiny and restrictions on federal money, and eventually closure. They never cared about actual education and they cannot cut their way there, and the sheer momentum of 20 years of greedy and unethical direction is going to sink them regardless of what they try now.

If ACICS does survive, they will be forced to get tough on all the failing ITT Tech and Breckinridge campuses that are not meeting their benchmarks for retention, graduation, and NCLEX pass rates.
