Nowood, OH has effectively lost the nursing department staff twice in recent times. The school is a fraction of its previous size and all departments have shrunk.

Many teaching staff decided enough was enough when a quite capable Dean was replaced by the Director's buddy. Neither Traci (the director) nor Emily (who Traci appointed as Dean) seemed to have any interest in academic standards and spent all their time simply trying to meet the numbers laid down by head office and demanding that teaching staff waste their time on inappropriate activities,

ITT Tech used to have a good name but as the management has swung to the likes of Traci and Emily the ITT name has hit the bottom. These days what they offer students is at best a joke and at worst a fraud.

Prospective students or teaching staff would be well advised to avoid ITT Tech nical Institute and ITT Norwood, OH in particular.

State nursing boards step in, where ACICS fears to tread. Add more schools to the list of failures. Norfolk, VA school is under conditional approval from Virginia nursing board due to NCLEX rate of 67% in 2014, below the nursing board standards; pass rate is down to 61% in 2015, so that program is going away. Tennessee ITT Tech program is under conditional approval, again because it is not meeting Tennessee nursing board standards. None of these programs are accepting new enrollments. Norwood, OH is operating on conditional approval from Ohio nursing board due to infractions, not accepting new enrollments; pass rate was only 44% in 2014, in 2015 it's down to 21%!!!!

ITT-Tech is hopeless. They are pumping resources into these nursing programs, and the outcomes are still getting worse! Imagine what is happening in the rest of their programs! Nursing program chairs and instructors are still full time faculty employees due to legal requirements imposed by state nursing boards. All other full time faculty laid off, so Modany can show profit to stockholders. ITT-Tech is still getting away with cheap operations in other programs due to lack of oversight by ACICS accreditors.

ITT Tech stock is falling today, though. This house of cards is imploding.

Surprised not to see Norwood, OH on the list but maybe that campus closed already. Last I heard they had no chairs other than nursing but nursing was under a consent decree from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
