Idiots should have bought Yahoo instead of AOL. AOL really brought nothing to the party that Verizon did not already have, except for a much better CEO. It is funny that the Huffington Post, which Verizon now owns just cannot stop spitting in Verizon's face. Good job Lowell! It is fun to see you hoisted and impaled on your own petard.

What opportunities are there? I don't know, are you Indian and willing to move back to India and work for $8 a day?
If the answer is yes, then lots of opportunities.
people are trying to figure out how to feed their family on 75-90k a year? no.
Chalk up another web 1.0 loser. My grandma uses Yahoo and that's only because it slipped by on a software install. That's the only way they get 'customers'. My God, Verizon is already leveraged up to their eyeballs as it is. Somebody's gonna pay for all these bad acquisitions, and it ain't going to just be the union folks. Where's the innovation?
There are several good companies in the mix for Yahoo. Don't get your hopes up.
It will look like more layoffs because there will be duplication! Yahoo is a second tier company - not even relevant to millennials. It must be nice to spend billions on useless acquisitions while folks are figuring out how they can pay their mortgage and feed their family!! #GREED
