Thread regarding FMC Technologies Inc. layoffs

Has the previously announced severance package changed?

At the end of December, in an email from Landes, there was a link to a severance calculator based on years of service. I checked that link last week and it's broken/page no longer exists. Does anyone know if it has changed since that distribution? Anyone that was let go last week know if it was reduced?

Of course it wasn't addressed in the All Hands Meeting today even though it was pre-submitted as a question... Makes me wonder.

Somebody on this thread called it on Gremp retiring in July.

Well done.

Though now the real changes will be sweeping through.

If Gremp retires in July, that's close to Q3...and another round of layoffs in July or August.

The crew making the decisions are (primarily) from GE. I heard Gremp is retiring in July.

Landed is an idiot. Seems to know nothing about the business and has done nothing but ask a bunch of stupid questions. Where do these people come from??? How in the world to they get into these positions?

It's ironic that a broken online calculator can tell you everything you need to know about FMC without even working. :)

I think on the email link there was a difference if you were a 5 year guy or a ten year guy.....my form instead said 10 years and under so if you have less than 10 years with the company you only get 4 weeks plus vacation. Sucks if your 9 years in but what can you do.....
