If you are retirement eligible under Williams, GO NOW. Energy Transfer won't do you any good. I should have gotten out when they bought my company but now I'm screwed. Better to go on your own than get squeezed out with no incentives and no control.

I was wondering about this. I am not close to retirement, but I have been worried about some who are. I have been wondering which folks are waiting to get pulled into the ETE plan and hoping for something better. I really hope that those who are looking for retirement will be blessed with a great plan either way. I cannot imagine working for a company for 20+ years and then getting the shaft at the end. It's really sad.
