I worked for vivint for the last 8 months I was the first person to help open the doors of this office. I worked my butt off ironing out all the issues the office had the reps praised me for my hard work. I walked into work Monday as any normal day - I worked for about 6 hours on this ridiculously hard project as soon as I told my OM I finished he asked me to come into the office. He slapped a termination letter on the table saying I was getting fired for not taking lunch! I was shocked I couldn't believe it I thought he was joking to be fired for working through my lunch. He told me this came from a hire power none of it made sense the whole office was in shock. And now it all makes sense. Two days later I got s text from a former employee and they said 3 people were let go from the office. I was more upset with the fact they made up a reason to fire me instead of laying me off bc of all the hard work i put into the office and to have that follow me to the next job. Vivint solar does not follow policy or procedure they shouldn't be a publically traded company. They really had me believing I was about to get a raise! One day my OM was high fiving me for my hard work and the next day he was firing me for a made up reason. What a shame they couldn't just be honest. I would have respected that.

I was the OM of a brand new office, only open first qtr,the locksmith and the east coast director met me at the door on a Tues morning, fifteen minutes later my career was over. What a bunch of sneaky a--holes, my regional manager never showed up, coward.Vivint management is in serious trouble, the business model and sales as 1099s is flawed. Move on, I did and am much happier. 60+ hrs a week for nothing...........
I helped open my office as well & was there for almost 3 years dealing with the same BS. I never received a raise or even a review. Thanks to me another office was able to succeed to were they are now & I ended up losing my job due to the stupid decision of them splitting my office. I put in a lot of time for this company & the a--holes couldn't even give us a severance package. F--- VSLR for nothing cause I earned every single dollar & am honesty blessed to be out of this sh--ty company. Wish everyone left nothing but the best!!!!
Nope not even a verbal warning nothing I was actually being told I was doing really good work - I was in total shock. I was being high fived for hitting our numbers a few days before!
