Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

Engineers Engineers Engineers...

As much as it pains me to say it, our engineering has compounding issues that have driven huge delays and sky rocketing costs especially with our new programs (747 Freighter, 787, 767 Tanker). It's hard to to build airplanes on time and on budget if we're building to change on change on change on change on change..............

This issue IS sestemic and MUST be resolved if we hope to remain competitive and keep our jobs.

I am in this now and feel helpless trying correct the madness with the non stop engineering changes. Touch one module today only to touch it again for a related or unrelated change tomorrow and then by multiple people. It's ridiculous!

Thank Harry and his minions. As MD went, so goes Boeing.

I've been saying this for a decade now: the number of changes they are introducing is immense and it cripples everyone. This has to stop at some point. Stage Contain the process, for god sakess
