Alright to all those bears out there constantly bitching about qcom:
News is that qcom's total addressable market(TAM) is $100 Trillion annually on a PPP basis. That's right the entire economy of the world is perfectly addressable for our company.
Smartphone and tablets migh be lost but that's like how much in total, $20B? Nothing compared to the entire economy of the planet.
News is that qcom will aggressively push to adjacent markets like crop farming, steel production, power plants, airplane manufacture, oil drilling and then some.
The current IP portfolio of the company positions it very well and strong to reap the profits of all those indsutries and meaningful steps are being made already.
