Thread regarding Zenith Education Group layoffs

My short time at Corinthian/Everest

Reflecting back on my decision to leave.

Looking at these messages, it is easy to see that the employees are like the students in that there is no better opportunity. What does it say about any given student whose first choice is Everest? It's about the same for all the employees. Sure I made a mistake, and I readily admit to my poor judgment. I recognized right away that there was no way that I could survive for any significant period of time. If you don't believe me, take a look at the employee qualifications, background and history. Nearly all went to another for-profit school, so they don't even know the difference.

Sure some students actually get employed at the end, but was it worth the cost?

And the other employees tried to convince me that the opportunity at Everest was really good. After a year of craziness, I left back in 2013. Looking back, I cannot be happier with my decision.

Best of luck finding better opportunity to all of you.

I agree that basically all it took to get hired by CCi was the ability to write your own name and only be off by a letter or two. Yes, there have been a lot of cuts, but one thing Zenith is doing well is bringing in better employees.
