Glad I got laid off early last year when oil started to tank. I was able to take advantage of job opportunities that are no longer available. Devon was a joke anyway, after they bought out the people I worked for, it turned into a clown show run by company ass kissers and pimple faced know it all engineers who just barely got out of high school. I guess a degree that tells the world you are smart trumps any kind of experience...

If these stupid ass companies were run by geologist instead of engineers they wouldn't be in debt for making stupid ass decisions.
You must be an engineer, don't really care if you got offended but seriously a lot of the ones I had to deal with were book smart and common sense stupid and could not tell their ass from the wellbore. I still work in the oilfield, not pumping gas as you would like to believe. Good luck people its going to get worse before it gets better.
A degree in engineering takes a little more than a smiling face. It's hell.
