No doubt layoffs won't be completely done in mid-March BUT they announced in meetings today that this round (20%) will be completed by then.
And who knows how they decide who goes. Encana is notorious for using **** metrics to determine promotions/firings.
They should start with CEO, executive office and the board of directors. They spend 7 billions USD to a acquire Permian assets and 3.1 billions for Eagle Ford. Market cap currently sits at 4.5 billions. Very good strategists.
Similar when they bet on CBM.
