I was recently contacted by a long time Gore Associate who was in a leadership position. He is being let go. Today I heard that six more high level people are being let go.

The Gore's Crosstech Fire Service Team has been completely turned over. The former leadership cared about the Fire Service. The current leadership seems to be just out to make a buck. Promoting new products with Marketing Data instead of real performance enhancements. Fire Fighters are going to suffer if Gore continues
I heard that they severed ties to a local marketing firm that they had used for 20+ years. The firm helped build the GORE-tex Brand. Consumer Fabrics marketing jobs were being cut within Gore-US since the marketing function was being moved to Germany.
Also hearing that people are being re-shuffled to protect friends-and-family members. Senior leaders who are not part of the friend-or-family network are being let go.
