Thread regarding VMware Inc. layoffs

for reals

VMware HAS THE WORST MIDDLE MANAGEMENT EVER. no one is ever promoted for achievements rather if your their long enough you will get promoted. To many managers not enough employees

so work falls behind and Revenue drops. The licensing revenue will not keep them afloat forever.

You can see that as a reflection in There is no accountability and every BU sees all others as a obstacle as

opposed to Teammates.. My manager brought in two previous employees within the last year. One of them

claimed " I have done much because I have been here for only 6 months". This employee remains today. It really is who you know. Nobody cares there

It's hard to take your complaints seriously when you have so many misspellings and grammatical errors in your post.

I agree. Only YES-folks get promoted.

One senior VP (CTO) keeps sending out emails about lack of quality and customer escalations but his direct reports force QE to keep shut and play politics.

Terrible QE infrastructure.

Every body is just milking the vSphere cow and looking for a new job till Dell sells VMware to Big Blue. Only Big Blue can save VMware against Azure and AWS. An announcement of partnership was made today which is a precursor to complete acquisition in next few months.

Big Blue will be better as Pat G will get the Big Blue boot.

We need Diane Green back!!

People that do nothing seems to be promoted, as you don't lose any work from their promotion...
