The forced exodus of Demos Parneros and replacing him with Shira Goodman will be the end of Staples.
Staples is systematically eliminating employees because of age, especially if you are over 50 and if you worked your ass off and maxed out on the pay scale. I know from experience.
The only time Martha sold well in our store was when it went on clearance for 75% off or more. That's when our customers took notice. Otherwise it sat in the BACK of the store (mistake #1) before they finally got smart enough to move it to the front of the store, but down the cleaning and breakroom isle of all places. How people in power that make these kinds of decisions still have a job is BEYOND comprehension.

Hint: Someone at Staples will make a shitload as a result of this deal. If you find out who, you will also find out why this happened, and I can assure you of just one thing; It has zero to do with increasing sales or profits at the slowly rotting carcass of this fish decaying from the head down.
