The Saudis control the price of oil and Obama and dozens of a Congressmen and Senators. They have political and religious objectives to achieve as well as economic reasons. The Saudis will use Obama to further their goals. You'll never see a tax on their oil imports to the US.
Not true about regulation. I'm into my sixth year of graduate school at SMU. My thesis unequivocally proves that this country is quasi-regulated, to the point of being non-existent. Please don't insult me with your ignorance. Use your severance to go back to school, that is if you ever graduated to begin with!

Imagine a world free of earthquakes, tornadoes, storms and natural disasters. No more oceans flooding our cities, no more dirty drinking water! It is within our reach...we can do this, if we listen to our leaders. The alternative is to become like China and Russia (bad). This is for our survival!!!!!
Obama want's to save us from ourselves! We don't know any better than to be oil field trash. He will lead us to the promised land of clean energy and environmental justice far all. Clean water and air. And if you pay a tax for the CO2 you exhale (based on age and weight) you will get credits for the next electric car you buy.
Because he wants to save the planet. He and Bernie want us to be a role model for the world (China and Russia bad, let them do the dirty work). We are better than they are, we use solar energy and drive electric cars, and we are happy to pay taxes to the Federal government. After all we know better.
