It's really a tough day for anyone with a college degree and would have thought that joining a great brand like intel would make their future secure to go through unexpected and shocking layoffs.
Especially, when they have a huge mortgage on house and cards. Without money, this world doesn't value any human.. That's the fact. So, if you got the severance from intel and are still unemployed, think about starting something on your own.
You can rear chicken, cattle or even horses. Else, get into some other challenging field like real estate, which will definitely help you come out of the lethargy and weekday blues that you would have faced working at intel.
For those having the thought that the world owes them a lot of money and they are still unemployed, big-box stores like walmart and target are always in need of folks to open the large delivery boxes and arrange the products on shelves.
You might have to work during the night hours and can easily make $15 an hour. Of course, this will not be an easy job like you had in intel where most of the days will be WFH for silly reasons and the actual work that happens would be work for home. Anyways, its good to see too many useless and highly paid folks being shown the way out.
Let this be a realization for the upcoming generations to not take any company for granted. Happy jobhunt out-of-work folks
