Thread regarding Devon Energy Corp. layoffs

WARN act pay is deducted from the Severance,

So I get the package, take my devon phone to sell on ebay, Smartly took the HSA option this year so I keep the money. I got the only exceeds expectation that my mgr gave out for 2015, Ok, there I'm done and moving on.

BUT - I read in my package that the WARN act pay is deducted from our severance? I still got a few months pay to sit and do nothing, so I'm ok, but why talk up the WARN act if Devon isn't paying it?

Yes, I was laid off in Nov. and I didn't get a WARN act and my insurance ended that night. then I basically got 1 months pay for every year I was there.

The WARN act ensured you received at least two months of severance and also benefits for those two months. If you were laid off last year (not falling under the WARN act), your benefits ended the day you left.

I was laid off last April.

How many months do they provide for the severance this time?
