How about a persistent double digit rate drop in Sales? How about flat earnings? It seems that Stock Buy-Backs never stop and are getting bigger and bigger (they artificially inflate the stock price and those shares are then distributed to executives in form of bonuses).
All of this is masked by divestitures, right-sizing, layoffs, call it whatever you want. That's the future, a slow and painful death. I take that back, it'll be painful for shareholders and workers, vendors and customers. The executive elite will actually enjoy it as their portion of the pie will keep rising. So in this game, the losers are:
