Why quit when you can get whatever scraps they are going to give you in severance?!? However, I would advise getting a head start and start sending out your resume. Even if you don't get the ax do you really want to stick around in a sinking industry??
As much as it sucks to sit around and wait, I respect dave for coming out and saying its going to happen instead of it being a surprise one day. you could tell he had a hard time saying it, unlike ben last year saying the IT layoff had nothing to do with oil prices.
It will be every Tuesday and most Thursdays through the end of the first quarter.
