We can see lots of people making their way into the auditorium at Devon currently. Town Hall starting at 2 p.m. They layoffs coming. It's bad over there.
PS: I wonder if they can sell the giant Christmas ornaments for some extra cash.

Just saw a bunch from Devon leaving the building with boxes. Whew...it looks as though it has started TODAY!
Well the Town hall wasn't at 2:00 at the Auditorium. It was at 10:00 at the Cox Center. Nice try.
Maybe you jokers from management should concentrate on running the company instead of stalking gossip boards and trying to BS us into a false sense of security WHILE LAYOFFS ARE HAPPENING IN THE BUILDING. Just a thought.
All of you should go back to work and focus on what you need to accomplish for the company. Really, wasting time on this site will help nobody, the management will share all information we need to know and that should cover it...
Spending time here and reading rumors and lies will not help anybody - please focus on work.
Nothing happened, chill, all lies, all is good
Guess the OP got laid off...
Any updates from the call?
"Devon good job for being proactive and not waiting till it's too late."
I think that sentiment depends on whether or not you're one of the steers being culled.
Like headed to the slaughter. Sadly instead of looking outside for employment we all pile into the hole closest to the corner and hope the cat doesn't reach our tails but rather our friends, co-workers. This price of oil YES is bad but it's how long it's projected to remain so low. What did we see today 26 some odd? So every economy reliant on oil has to pump more to pay their debts owed. It's a circle that seems today unbreakable for the new future. Devon good job for being proactive and not waiting till it's too late. Slimming the heard is necessary
