I was also laid off from sales back in January. Thankfully I had been there for 4 years and knew how poorly structured the company is and had been already looking for a year. I was told in December there was no chance I was going to be laid off and a month later I got the cut because of "hard economic decisions". Funny, I found a job posting for my role on the website shortly after.

As a ten year employee, I was surprised with my layoff. When a sports team fails this often, The Manager, Coach, General Managers get fired. This team keeps firing the players.
Accenture contractors being let go this week, 40+ contractors. More layoffs to come.
Laying off compliance personnel as well (know of at least 4 since Friday). Should be interesting when regulators start the next cycle of inspections. Lots of bad decisions lead to this and it won't get better. Heard they just acquired a smaller company since the layoffs as well. Give them a year until they file bankruptcy.
Yes, there were job cuts in Richardson too. Rumor is more cuts to come. Drop in oil prices is really hurting the company. Don't see oil moving back up in 2016.
