Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Walmart closing stores - it's about to melt down

Pretty much the same thing, they are opening a bunch of smaller stores, layoffs and store closures across the country - it's lively here on layoffs dot com - here is their thread: &wal-mart-stores (also &kmart is closing many stores) - things are not good for stores, not sure what's going on but everyone is freaking out it looks to me we are about to hit another #recession

Nothing to see here. It's about 150 stores overseas and 150 in the US -- Express locations, those tiny little stores that are like Family Dollar or Dollar General stores. They're opening about the same number of supercenters and neighborhood markets (groceries only). Not a big deal, they're exiting the microstore format is all.

This store is BS, They are opening new updated stores in the same communities where a store is closing. This is a non story. Don't be fooled by the liberal media.

I can tell you one thing, that is, on-line sales are literally 'sucking the blood' out of brick and mortar stores. Look at BlueApron and ChefsWarehouse literally have created a new dimension in food buying! Wake up WholeFoods, it's time you smelt the coffee! Off course we will wait and see!
