I am not looking forward to the All Hands Meeting next week. I missed the impromptu one a week or so ago due to being on holiday.
Most of us have been walking on eggshells the past week. Are RiFs being announced? Will we be chastised similar to Barry's behaviour? More corporate double talk? Will Intel and senior magagement show their true colours with respect to policies for follow on redundancies? I simply do not have a good feeling about next week.
So... what ended up happening?
Nice day off before the meeting. Feel a bit uneasy.
I don't know it another RiF will be announced. I tend to think this will just be another attempt at rumor control, since the impromptu all hands after the new year wasn't too effective in that regard.
I would anticipate that we will see some let go this week. It'd be the perfect time for management to do so and use the excuse of Intel directing them to do so. Perfect cover for ineptitude. One only hopes that the carnage is limited to the dead weight of marketing and sales.
I hope everything will be ok but the base line is we do not know what will happen. Just too rush and too much unknown.
