Let's face it, Target cannot compete with Walmart in physical space. Amazon needs some physical presence to compete with Walmart. Future is on-line but need for ship to store., etc....A combined Amazon and Target is natural fit. GET IT DONE!

If Amazon took over Target, Walmart's stock would take a huge hit. If Target were bigger into grocery, it would be a fantastic buy for Amazon; they just aren't, they are mostly general merchandise. I'd love to see Amazon continue to mop the floor with Walmart in every way possible.
Think about it if physical store presence was so profitable why is Walmart desperately pouring billions of dollars to catch up with us online. Amazon is forward thinking this it will not take over old school failing retailer like target
Maybe a couple too many former Tgt team members at Amazon now that would advise to stay away from Target.
