Hi fellow Staples unemployed folks ! Well a little over 6 weeks and I received a notice that My check for the previous 6 weeks of unemployment is in the mail.. No denial, no appeal required... Here is your money ;-)
No explanation of why I got it or what the process was. I can only guess that they didn't fight it or DUI has caught on to the games Staples is playing and siding with the employees that have been let go and just giving us our money without having to play the games.. Not that I am not great full, just curios as to what the process was.
I was let go at a particularly tough time of year to be looking for work, Have had a few bits of interest but nothing has really gone into full swing yet that I can see. On line applications suck as you don't ever get to really sell yourself to an actual human being. You are competing against an algorithm in an application system that you have no idea how it 's weighted or what it's looking for. I have found that most systems don't want any middle of the road answers. You are either far right or far left. Remember that as you take assessment tests.
Anybody want to buy 440 shares of Staples stock for $12.00 a share ? The analyst are recommending to hold... I don't believe them. I think Staples is going to tank when the FTC gets done with them.... My opinion and gut feeling........
I still think all of us that were fired or forced out should band together and file a class action suit for wrongful termination. I don't have any connections with anyone who can make this happen. Do you ?
