Fossil (NASDAQ:FOSL) has officially completed its acquisition of wearables maker Misfit. Many Fossil investors believe this is a highly relevant acquisition, one that will create a new revenue stream for the company, and could create long-term sales and profit growth. While FOSL outperformed the market on Wednesday in response to completing the purchase of Misfit, trading slightly higher against the Nasdaq's 0.8% loss, investors must realize that Misfit will do little to get Fossil out of the hole it has dug itself.
