It's all true. CEO Lee McIntire was a slimy little parasite who ran the company into the ground with his failed strategies. Unfortunately his "pump & dump" scheme succeeded and he left the firm with his wad of cash while hundreds lost their jobs in the wake of his incompetence. Hundreds of jobs were sent overseas for cheap, third-world labor. Of course, you get what you pay for and the quality quickly become substandard further tarnishing the firm's once stellar reputation. And yet Lee found another firm who would listen to his delusions of grandeur and made him CEO.

CH2M Hill used to treat their employees very well, but after Lee McIntyre became president/CEO, the company started to gradually change it's focus until it was 'all about the money'. When it's all about the money, people don't matter - that's the way of Corporate America.
I REALLY THOUGHT CH2MHILL WAS A GREAT PLACE TO WORK. BUT, I REALLY QUESTIONED THAT AFTER HEARING HOW NEW MANAGEMENT HANDLE LAYOFFS. INTERRUPTED CLIENT MEETINGS TO LAY SOMEONE OFF. THERE WAS MUCH, MUCH MORE. THIS I KNOW BECAUSE ONE OF CH2MHILL CLIENTS WAS THERE AND WITNESSED WHAT WENT ON. HE WAS APPAULED THAT CH2MHILL TREATED THEIR EMPLOYEES SO BAD, AND WITH SUCH DISRESPECT.
