I was hired in 2015 and given LTI that don't vest for 2-4 years. What happens if I get laid off before they vest? Are they still mine? Didn't think about getting laid off as I was getting hired.

If you're laid off under their so called "performance" conditions, you won't receive ANY LTI's that weren't vested. You receive them if your position is being completely eliminated. If your position is being back filled, you won't.

When I was laid off all of my LTI (which had staggered vesting over 4 years) vested immediately (took about 2 weeks for paperwork to go through).
