Of course it wasn't mentioned at the town hall. They never have the balls to tell you face-to-face that you're being canned. It comes in the form of an email and a request to show up in the conference room. The town halls will be littered with lies about how good the bottom line looks. It is all about putting lipstick on a pig.

Chesapeake just dropped Nomac Drilling. Nomac is doing company wide layoff. Husband was informed today its his last hitch. No more wells.
